Bought an item on auction from an ebay shop on Monday, with courier delivery. When the item hadnt arrived on Wednesday, I contacted seller to ask roughly when I could expect to receive the item as wanted to know when to wait in for courier. got no response. Yesterday afternoon, I emailed again after the item had still not arrived, and stated that I would like a response etc, to let me know when it was coming. They replied to say their warehouse is out of stock in black, would I like it in blue or would I prefer a refund? I answered refund please as soon as possible, as need the money to buy from somewhere else and I need in a hurry. I have had no further response from them, and no refund.
AIBU to be getting really quite cross that they have a) sold an item they dont even have
b) it took 3 days and 2 emails from me for them to tell me they dont have the item
c) I have now been waiting for a refund almost 24 hours, they have had my money all bloody week with no intention of sending me anything.
If this was a private seller I would be a lot more understanding, but this is a shop, a power seller, so they are either unbelievably slack or are ignoring me.
