barking dog

I feel really mean now that I have told my neighbour that I can hear her dog barking
at 6.45am and sometimes as late as midnight
pther neighbours have told me they can hear
the noise but when questioned by my neighbour
they denied that it was a problem.my neighbour is very controlling in the
community and tends to always get her own
way,ie.letting her dog out onto communial
garden to go to toilet even though she
does clean after it most times,I do not allow my grandchildren to use the garden when they come because of this.Last year
when I came out of hospital I couldnt rest
in afternoon because of barking but kept my
mouth shut, but when I complained last week
she started crying and said that the dog is
all she had and now I feel so bad for upsetting her,she will not accept apololigies

Get the Dog Warden round. You clearly aren't going to get any sense out of the woman who owns the barking dog.

Thanks BeerTrickPotter,now all neighbours
she has spoken to think i am wicked witch
of the north,i have a Jack russell rescue
dog myself and he is no problem at all,I
think I feel so guilty because lady is much
older than me and I felt guilty upsetting her
as I would hate anyone to upset my mum if
she was still still with us.All I want to
do is leave my windows open in this warm
weather and not hear yap yap yap
