Im 24 next month.. and after a rather shitty past 5 yrs of marriage, i really want to throw myself a party for my birthday, but also to celebrate getting my life back....

I was thinking a BBQ at home, but going the whole hog with decorations, a cake the works..

Would it be rather sad of me or should i go for it??

GO FOR IT - your life, your decision - YOUR PARTY!!!!!!!!

Parties are fantastic! Very exciting and fun. Doesn't have to be a 30th, 40th etc to throw a party. Go for it!

Mowgli1970 · 14/07/2010 17:41

Do it! Have a great time!

nagoo · 14/07/2010 17:50

I do it every year, no one else would do it for me!

I always organise my own birthday party, even though I have a very nice DH, if I didn't do it I wouldn't ever get one!

FindingMyMojo · 14/07/2010 17:56

Oh you're going to have big fun.
What kind of cake are you going to bake/decorate? Enjoy - I think half the fun of the party is the planning (OK maybe 20% of the fun)!!
