to wish DH wouldn't complain about being knackered since he won't have a sleep when the opportunity arises?

we have 3 dc.

youngest, dd, is 6 months old and a terrible sleeper, won't drink from a bottle, so since she was born i have been up all night every night with her.

yet every morning dh informs me that he's had no sleep at all because even though he doesn't have to get up with the baby, he still wakes up every time i get up. (which i haven't noticed what with the snoring coming from his side of the bed)

then last few days ds2 has been up at 5am, and dh keeps going downstairs with him. I've suggested he puts ds2 in front of a thomas the tank dvd and comes back to bed til 7am, but he says he can't get back to sleep once he's awake. likewise at weekend he won't have a nap when the opportunity presents itself.

he's a lovely dh, but this is doing my head in. i would, at this point of sleep deprivation, leap at the chance of extra sleep, and i don't complain every flippin day about how bad my night was...
