The lads who live at the end of the row of houses have decided that now is a good time to ride an off road motor bike up and down our one way street, revving it and making as much noise at possible.

Thought of ringing the police but surely they have better things to do, also they wont get here in time to see them doing it.

I am quite worried about someone coming into the street and being met with these idiots racing towards them.

yanbu... on my street on saturday 2 guys on a quad (no helmets) crashed into a couple and their 3 children, then a lampost, then a wall... the 10 month old baby was saved by her pram and the 2 bigger kids lost teeth the couple are bruised but ok... the driver died

OMG that is awful, poor family. I am sorry the driver died but he knew what he was doing and and had a choice not too, that poor family did not have a choice

I'd call your local station (not 999). Fingers crossed the bike isn't road legal and they'll have it taken off them.

biddysmama - that's awful... how frightening for the family and how very, very sad for the drivers family (no matter how stupid he was being, they loved him).

OP definitely call your local station - I had to the other night and they were brilliant.

we have someone who drives through our very quiet village on a very loud motorbike at 5.30 every morning. He is presumably going to work and that is his mode of transport, so not exactly a twat being inconsiderate but it does wake us and lots of other people too. Can't really think how to deal with it other than stepping into the road to stop him one day!
