I took the DCS to the park yesterday and the DS's wanted to go on the tyre swing so I pushed them. The problem was it contianed latex.

I took a antihistomne and priton but still got worse over a period of time. But I didnot think is was severe as it was nearly an hour later.

Fortunatly DH called my dad who took me to the minor injuries unit who dignosed anaphylaxis and did the epipen for me and got me transfered to the A&E unit.

Sorry for spellings I still feel out of it.

Did you know about the latex problem before this?

A bad reaction is always scary but it's over now. If you don't have an epipen at home it's time to go and get one though.

Yes I have an epipen and I did know about the latex allergy, I just did not think.
At lest now i know that a contact allergy is different from a food allergy.and It can take longer to devlop.
