Its getting to that time of year when we all need our sun cream. My 5 year old DD suffers from excema, every year I try a lot of sun creams with no success.Have just bought L'oreal Solar Expertise specially for kids SPF50.
Has anyone ever tried it, if so was it a success or can anyone recomend anything else

We used to buy natural ones that didn't irritate things, but a lot have been discontinued as they changed the new EU regulations.

There's only Lavera NatureKosmetic Sun 20 which is vaguely non-synthetic left - we've now bought some though and it seems good so far.

Also using Lavera Sun 20, hasn't caused any flare-ups yet (fingers crossed).

Can I buy Lavera NatureKosmetic on the high street or do I get it on line?
Do you Know if it comes in a higher SPF, my DD seems to only look at the sun and her skin goes red, I am always worried incase she burns.

Have you tried Green People? The woman set up the company as her DD had horrific eczema - they sell children's SPFs.

I don't know re availability on high street - maybe some health shops? I bought mine from www.lovelula.com but I think it is widely available from lots of internet sites. My dd has very fair skin and it seems to be holding up ok, don't think it's available in a higher spf.

Bergaderm is the only one that ds can use as the rest cause a rash

BlueBumedFly · 12/05/2010 21:33

Sun Safe and Bergaderm are both fab, the only ones that do not make DDs wrists bleed!
