dh needing tests done as he has allergies which he thinks are mild but doc is worried, how long do results etc usually take?

It depends which tests he has.
If it's skin pricks they do them then you get the results about 30 minutes later when they look at the skin to see what caused a reaction.

If it's rast blood tests that can be a few months.

A few months!

RAST results can be back in a few days, I think several months is awful.

Actually the more time I spend on this board the more I realise how lucky we are to have the allergy service we have.
