Sounds really good to me - not only because it would help with the "reading print for which you need a magnifying glass" issue but also because it has the potential to include more information than is on a current label. It could allow easier translation when abroad. Where food has a "may contain" warning it could specify whether the factory uses nuts and maybe other information.
