Is it possible to be allergic to white bread ?

Or rather something in it ??

I used to eat lots and lots of it, but about a month ago I switched to wholemeal and also limited myself to 2 slices a day max.

I have since lost half a stone and got rid of the sore cracked dry skin in the corners of my mouth.

However on tuesday I went to a friends and had white bread there, and last night the soreness in the corners of my mouth/lips was back.

Could it be connected ??

My aunt has always said she couldn't have white flour. She didn't go to the doctors to get it all checked for sure (they might not have believed her in any case) but I think it's highly possible that some residues from the processing would cause reactions.

Oh thats interesting. I have definately noticed a difference in myself since I stopped eating it.

I think I am just going to avoid it completely if possible. Have got used to not having it now so hopefully it won't be too hard.
