Have just discovered that the field at the bottom of my garden has been planted with rape this year. Normally I only have to drive past a field of this, and I'm struggling to breathe, and my eyes are streaming. Am dreading the prospect of a great swathe of it so close! Also worried for my ds, also allergic, whose A level study leave is going to coincide with the flowering period.
I do realise we can keep our windows shut etc, but it's so close, and I know that's not going to work!
Has anyone been in this position before? and do they have any helpful suggestions as to what works best? Is there something we should be doing now, to prepare?
very very grateful for any advice!
