Has anyone got any advice for curing rash?

My 6 yr old son is suffering from skin rash for the last 2 mths. now. I did consulted my GP 2-3 times for this and he is advicing the same allergy medicine everytime (that sometimes help but is obviously not very good for him to take everyday). I did get my GP to write some blood tests for this but I am getting an appointment for the blood tests in the end of april. I don't want the little one to be on medicines on everyday.
Every morning, the rash starts with red spots on the tummy, around the neck, and on the back of his legs. It is itchy as well.
I really can't see my little one is suffering from such problem everyday. Has anybody got some advice that can help him with rash and that also is least medicine dependent?

Have you looked into food intolerance, or more likely sensitivity to food chemicals??

I ask because I've been through this with my DD, same as you Doctor couldn't find a proper answer, but I was lucky to have an old friend who works in alternative medicine & specialises in Kids, as I was breastfeeding only at the time, she suggested that it was something I was eating......turned out to be the colourants in the cheap jelly sweets I often craved......we went on later to realise it was also preservatives & MSG, she didn't often eat foods with this stuff in, but her skin would flare up similar to the way you describe in only 20 minutes, ....if you don't already know about this, then google benzoate preservatives & Azo dyes, they are the bad ones, some others are okay

I'm wondering as you say it flares up just after breakfast, if its something in his cereal, or something else he is eating or drinking then??

Good luck, I hope you get to the bottom of it, I remember how upsetting it is
