Good news DD has outgrown her egg allergy at 3 years old

A bit of good news on this forum . Skin prick test showed negative for yolk and white - 2 years ago it showed a very severe allegy. Good news her baby brother is negative also.

My DD came home from the doctors and demanded a boiled egg at 4pm . She loved it. Scrambled egg yuk according to both kids though.

That's great. My friend's little girl has just had the same result at 4 years. They've been catching up on the baking.

Great news. Can I ask an egg question, if DD has reacted badly to atopic egg white but can tolerate eggs in cakes etc, can she have a shop bought cake due to the icing as I was told to watch out for theat? It says pasturized dried egg?

cranbury really pleased for you. My DS is due to be tested again for egg allergy in October, when he'll be nearly 4 - am crossing my fingers for same good result
