Desensitisation

My little one is just starting some desensitisation treatment for pollen. Anyone know of anyone who's had this and do you know if it's worked?

My nephew is having this and I think they are happy with it. I haven't got any details (they are on the other side of the world so a bit disconnected) but I am sure my sister said his eczema was improving.
