Opinions on SMA Gold LF

My 4wk old is borderline lactose intolerant. He has just been prescribed SMA gold Lactose Free formula. He was currently on Cow and Gate and he was very unsettled with wind and a rash on his bottom from diahorrea. Has anyone used this and was pleased with it? Or any negative opinions? The doc told me to try it for a fortnight and then we'll introduce him back to cow's milk formula b/c he could grow out of it.

my DS did very well on this initially. We discovered he was lactose intolerant, he had been screaming all day long. 12 hours after switching to SMA LF he stopped! It was quite incredible. Unfortunately, after about 5 weeks he also developed cow milk protein intolerance and had to be put on nutramigen.
