Itchy palms

Does anyone know if itchy palms could be an allergic reaction. My dd age nearly 3 has it a lot. There are a few red spots on palms. Also she seems to scratch the rest of her body a fair bit. Has only started recently. Any ideas?

I have excema and so does dd but to a lesser extent. She gets itchy palms when she comes into contact with some perfumed products/soaps. Usually bothers her most at night and she scratches in her sleep. A bit of cream and an avoidance of that product and she's back to normal.

Thank you for your reply. Would you be able to recommend a cream for it or should i see gp? It does mostly bother her at night.

I would see your GP just to get it on her notes and for him to check it out. We also get cream on prescription as it's free!

She uses Oilatum Junior for her hands.

Here

Comes in a BIG tub. Is lovely after the bath. They also do an emollient that I use in the bath and have for years.
