Itchy palms

Does anyone know if itchy palms could be an allergic reaction. My dd age nearly 3 has it a lot. There are a few red spots on palms. Also she seems to scratch the rest of her body a fair bit. Has only started recently. Any ideas?

i think there are certain rashes the tend to stick to the palm of hands, i have a mild allergy to dairy, and itch my legs alot if i have to much, could you do a food diary and see what flares up the itch?

pompholyx - this - is a type of contact exzema which affects the palms and soles.

Thanks, it does look like that albeit not so much of it. Am keeping a diary to see if there are any patterns. Quite hard to narrow down things but will persevere. Thanks for your help.

When i am about to have medium to big allergic reaction, i have itchy palm and sole of feet. Occaisionally, i can ward of this if i take note and get some piriton. i would try piriton and if it stops the itching it might suggest an allergy.

It sounds like it might be - have you tried cream e45 to sooth it? Have a chat with your pharmacist.
