Eczema + summer?

Alot of people told me that the sunshine and warm weather would help to clear up dd eczema - it hasn't! Why do people think this? If anything it is probably worse as she wears less clothes and can therfore access the problem areas - i.e. arms and back of legs.

Think all eczema is different and some are better in summer. My ds is definitely worse.

It could be that she is allergic to some sort of pollen or grass that is coming directly into contact with her skin. You can try putting a good layer of protective cream on before she goes out and then washing exposed skin immediately afterwards.
