Swine Flu jab & allergies

Hi all, I'm not sure if this has already been discussed, apologies if so.
My dd has many allergies and asthma, do you think it is imperative that she get the swine flu jab? Is it safe? I read in the paper at the weekend that there had been 2 anaphylactic reactions to the jab.
DD is also anaphylactic!
What should I do?

Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine (PDF)

Hi - if you put the above into the search engine - it should take you to the insert for the vaccine with some helpline numbers on it.

Personally - I'm going to give it to my boys who both have asthama and one has severe food allergies.

Hope you find your answer - it's a nightmare to have to make this decision.

it doesn't follow that because your child has anaphylactic reactions to other things they will react to the vaccination - unless they have had bad reactions to vaccine components before. If not your decision is the same as anyone else deciding whether to have the vaccine.

For me the age of the child would be relevant. Younger children seem to have more problems with swine flu.
