Baby eczema since weaning - possible causes?

My dd (9 months) used to have perfect skin but since weaning (and it may just be a coincidence) she has developed what the doctor has called baby eczema.

It is mostly around her mouth, her nostrils and up to her eyes (eyelids & the top of her cheeks). Moisturising has helped but I wonder if it is caused by something I have given her?

She has all foods except for nuts.

Is it likely to be an allergy? If it were eczema would it not be on other parts of her body?

Many thanks for any information

The doctor hasn't called it atopic exzema, so it is probably just a phase your DD is going through. Loads of babies do.
