DS went for skin prick tests today, last years bloods showed >100 for milk, >80 for egg and 9 for peanut. Seeing as he's 8 now and his last reaction was over 4 years ago I had a sneaking hope he might at least test negative for egg.
5mm wheal for milk, 6mm for egg and 9mm for peanut.
Oh well, at least we're now pretty sure he's allergic to nuts - he's never been near one, we were always told to avoid them 'just in case'. Just as well!
I'm fairly sure the wheal for milk is smaller than last time, I forgot to ask the consultant. Is it worth checking, would a smaller wheal be any indication he might (oh please!) be starting to grow out of it, does anyone know?
