Aspirin/NSAID allergy and diet?

I was diagnosed with allergy to aspirin/NSAID's last year (even too much paracetamol can set me off), and I also have allergic rhinitis. My aspirin allergy symptoms are the same as my rhinitis symptoms. I've been doing some reading on salicylates in food and was wondering if some of my chronic hayfever episodes may in fact be salicylate reaction from food/drink.

Has anyone tried an salicylate elimination diet of any sort? Has it made a difference?
