patch testing- DP has hives on chest in same pattern as patches on back! Is this normal?

DP had the European standard patch tests this am on his back. This evening he has a small series of hives on his chest in the same pattern that's on his back! Its really quite spooky. Does anyone have any experience of this?

He says it itches and it looks more like hives than his eczema (which is reason hes having patch tests)

Mine has only had tests on the arm so sorry can't help.

How odd, mine arms too so no help from me. I would call the clinic and ask them?

call clinic, have heard from a relaible source that they are not a accurate allergy test.
so are not recommended by many in the know.

get back sorted, and ask for skin prick tests!
