Cat allergy driving me mad!

Visited house with cats on Saturday & dispite lots of piriton my eyes are still driving me bonkers with the itching! Anyone got any ideas of how to get rid of the itching?
I know allergies can give very different reactions at different times, but I am used to getting very weasy & being fine the next day. Must be my age!!

I always find otrivine eye drops much better for the eye symptoms . Piriton etc never seem to make my eyes any better.
Is the weather good where you are? If so it could be a weed pollen reaction. My grass hayfever had petered out but in the last few days it's struck up again because of the weeds!
