Hi. Both my children have mild skin issues - itchiness etc (further questions on this tomorrow). My GP said to stop using all Johnson products and use aquaeus cream to bathe in. Please can someone suggest a very mild, sensitive shampoo etc as all my GP said was stop using the johnsons baby shampoo immediately - she thinks all Johnson products are awful. Thank you

similar thread yesterday

There is a range called 'little me' which is available in boots

or there's 'halo n horns' which tesco and sainsburys have.

Waitrose do quite a wide range of natural things

Read the ingredients and try to avoid Sodium Lauryl Sulphate sometimes listed as SLS that is an industrial chemical used to clean oils and it is in most high street products.

We just use the oilatum bath oil mixed in the bath water, it cleans hair too. DS's hair doesnt look greasy which I thought it would. Mind you, don't know if it would work with long hair.

Definately avoid anything with any type of parabens and sodium lauryl sulphate. You will be surprised at how many supposedly mild/hypoallergenic stuff still has these ingredients. The only one I've found that doesn't break the bank (I have 3 kids so go through a lot!) and causes no problems is Halos 'n Horns.

We had a special Oilatum shampoo but got in on prescription so I don't know how much it costs. We have now ditched all the special stuff as Johnsons Top to Toe has strangely made her excema more manageable and less itchy...

Waitrose own baby range - esp shampoo is great (we don't really use anything else)
