well......how long should it take for the bruising to fade

and

is it normal to have a raised welt in the place it went it, that now is insanely itchy??

driving me nuts

missed that report - but when I used an epipen the bruising went like any other bruise. As it was a small bruise it went quite rapidly. So two weeks wouldn't be normal and I would want some medical advice about it.

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:09

.....I figured that would be the responce. thankyou anyway tatt

oh, thread about me being stabbed is here

MerlinsBeard · 16/04/2009 17:10

i thought you were going to say you were allergic to it

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:11

well, the welt would indicate that would it now......

ah, I do hope not. really hurts still tho.

how are yous anyway???

OP posts:
MerlinsBeard · 16/04/2009 17:12

oh read it properly now

oh dear psycho!! (but am still ing because only you could be allergic to an epipen!!)

Am shite actually but don't want to go into it here x

MerlinsBeard · 16/04/2009 17:13

and get thee to the DR first thing in the morning - with all your tribe if needs be!

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:24

I would MoM, only DD3 has yet more blood at hospital, and tis only emergancies in the morning, at the same time as I am going to be at the blood appointment

I will ask next week when I go about having me re-tested for low calcium and whatever else they want to redo.

I just wondered if it was normal tho, and seems not, but then, I am not exactly normal according to DH

for you tho. big huge squishy one

OP posts:
Squirdle · 16/04/2009 17:37

Well it really wouldn't surprise me if you were allergic to the epipen How hard did DH stab you????

Squirdle · 16/04/2009 17:37

Oh and did he stab you with the right end?

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:40

felt like he thumped me REALLY REALLY HARD squirdle.

altho I didn;t feel the 'stab' of the needle, so was pretty good in that respect

oh, and yes, he got the right end

how are you anyway......and you fancy a visit in the next week or so??

OP posts:
Squirdle · 16/04/2009 17:50

I am always up for a visit, but I'll have to get back to you. I am working at the nursery (eeek) for 3 mornings a week this term (and probably for the forseeable future and don't quite know which days I am rostered on yet. Not sure how long i will be able to cope with seeing 25 under 5's every day, but valium may help

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:53

oooh, how fab (well, the working side, not the 25 screaming toddlers side).

ok, let me know days you are free when you are back, and see if they match with my days, and we can plan

OP posts:
Squirdle · 16/04/2009 17:58

I'd rather be doing extra days at the estate agency, but tis not guaranteed. I am guaranteed the weekends there though...so I will be a 2 job lady! I go to work at the weekend to have time off

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 18:03

wow busy lady!

I quite like the thought of estate agent working.....do you get to nose show people round houses

OP posts:
Squirdle · 16/04/2009 18:10

Tis great! It's my 'grown up' job I really enjoy it, so won't be giving that one up!

MerlinsBeard · 17/04/2009 14:59
