Dressing-up clothes

Has anyone come across cotton dressing up costumes? The girls don't like the "long sleeved cotton top underneath" look but it's the only way to stop them itching. I am no dab hand with a sewing machine which I fear is the only way around the flammable options.

You could try www.myriadonline.co.uk who make the most beautiful natural toys and dressing up things. I think most of the dressing up things are made of natural silk. Just beware, everything on this site is so tempting but lots of it is expensive!

Hi, my daughter has had dress up clothing from www.fairybugs.com They are not cotton unfortunately but are made with non itchy fabrics and are washable which was a must for my dd with eczema and the dustmite allergy. The service was fab and they are beautiful. I recommend taking a look. I hunted everywhere until I found these.

The one my dd had was the little adventurers make on their site (cinderella dress), but I think they do different brands. This clearly stated no itchy fabrics or trims.
