ds has eczema. he's 6 months and has had it since he was about 6 weeks old. we have a cat and i was just wondering if he's allergis to her. does anyone know how i could find out? i don't want to get rid of her if she's not the problem!

book the cat into a cattery for a week, see if it clears up whiles she's away.

I think the only way would be to get a skin prick test done.

Putting the cat in a cattery for a bit would only work if you get rid of all trace of the cat in the house, which would be virtually impossible unles syou got rid of all your carpets and soft furnishings, the allergen can last for 7 years!!
