Which milk alternative?

Hi all
My 11yr old dd has multiple environmental allergies (dust, tree pollen, animal dander) and asthma. Recently she has been complaining that every time she has cereal with milk she has a bloated feeling and some pain/discomfort. I have also noticed in the last year she has developed really bad 'allergy shiners' that are pretty much permanent.
Could she be developing a milk intolerance?
I am waiting for an appointment with her allergist but in the meantime thought I might try her on a milk substitute.
My question is, which one does your child prefer?
She has tried soya milk and has said it is 'gross'. How do your kids like rice milk, oat milk? Are some soya milk brands/types better tasting than others?
Any insight is much appreciated.
Thanks

I second the Lactofree suggestion - was drinking soya milk before I discovered it, but have not touched anything else since.

It depends what she is intolerant to in the milk. If it is the lactose then the lactofree milk would be fine, but if she is allergic to the milk protein then it will make no difference.

Soya milk is gross. To drink, Provamel rice milk is the nicest. On cereal and in tea I think oat milk is better.
