Bluewater - the Bread Shop!

I went to Bluewater (Kent I think) last week and was delighted when I found a new(ish) bread stall that sells wheat free bread!

When I get there the wheat free bread is made from spelt flour.

Please forgive my ignorance but I thought spelt was not gluten or wheat free?

Advice please?

spelt is an ancient form of wheat and is not suitable for coeliacs, some people with other gluten sensitivities do say they are ok on it though
