Dd had weird spots all over her arm at Christmas. They itched, were big, hard and painful. She suffers eczema and allergies so as soon as the surgery was open again I took her in. By this time she had one on her leg aswell. The doctor put her on antibiotics and stated it could be an infection. The antibiotics seemed to sort it and they went down and cleared all except for the red scaring, however, after the course finished in a matter of days one was up on her arm again. Not keen on her going through antibiotics again so soon, I started putting on fucidin. Days later her flu jab was due so I went to see the nurse and they decided to still go ahead and give it to her even though the infection may have been starting to return. The nurse sorted out a repeat of the antibiotic to give her if it didnt go over the next few days. It did go so I didnt give the antibiotic. But now its starting yet again. One huge hard itchy painful lump again on the back of her leg. Keep looking online. Have to admit at Christmas it looked a little like moluscum when she had scratched it to craters but not the beginning stages. No fluid filled blisters. I have also read about Erythema nodosum. But she doesnt bruise with these. The one on her leg is just like a huge lump its not cratered or cut yet but her arms did previouly but it may have been because she scratched them so much.

any ideas? Obviously if it becomes more intense I will take her back but its more isolated since the antibiotics. At Christmas it covered her whole arm.
