Also gets bad ezcema on arms and legs and when she has ate somthing which she should not her belly becomes rashy. Also she has a very sore face looks alot like acne. tried creams from the doc and are manageing it the best we can but was just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems as there might be something that we are missing.

my sister is very citric intolerant

she has to avoid all products with citric acid in, they sneak them into all sorts of things (tins of tomatos /crisps....)

she gets a rash on her elbows, and swells up on her face and gets moody.

YOur Dc may grow out of it bit I would recommend checking everything you eat. I would avoid using any hydrocortisone cream for any length of time as they can thin the skin.

My DS2 has ecsema; we avoid apples as they flare it up, use as little washing powder and conditioner as possible (surcare is really good), never use any soap on him, and shampoo as little as possible also he only has a bath every 3 days (he too is 20 months)

the difference is noticable

good luck!
