Had trouble getting near a computer over Christmas.

Let's hope the new year brings some children outgrowing their allergies and further good news from the desensitisation study.

merry christmas to you!

how are things going?

dd hasn't had a reaction now for ages. She even ate some egg yolk yesterday. She still won't touch the white (which makes me think she probably hasn't fully outgrown it but I'm not too bothered about it now. I still keep her away from raw eggs but that's not too difficult). We still haven't tried peanuts I realised the other day so I might have to try those soon. She's now 7. It's amazing to think how long the two of us have been talking about allergies .

she's not 7, she's 8. My other child is 7. God, I'm turning into my parents and getting ages wrong!

family are out for the day, so I'm nervous as OH isn't to be trusted if there is a reaction. However things went OK, even SIL claims she finally understands she has to keep the nuts locked up . My friend's baby probably has milk intolerance though . Her older lad isn't outgrowing it yet but at least they are used to it now.
