I have an allergy to nuts and fish so thought my son might have some allergies when he was born. He had a tomato intolerance at 8 months... but grew out of that by one year.... then he got an egg allergy around 14 months (anaphylatic shock).. he had tests and they said definately egg and nuts also showed up as an allergy. Luckily he is ok with fish.... we have to go back to see Proffesor Lack in london every year so we can have son restested to see if he grows out of one of these allergies... egg is quite common to grow out of. Anyway... what I wanted to say is that with your GP and local hospital you can DEMAND to go to a specialist centre.... like we do with Prof. Lack.... you have the right to choose where you go.. and now we are seeing the top guy in the country.. which reassures me.. with me having allergies too....

hello alliemarch
allergies, most kids grow out of them unless its an analphylatic fit! there is egg replacer you can buy in fresh and wild health food stores, alot of allergies are caused by chemicals in the environment as well as from wheat gluten soy egg nuts, my son has an egg white nut and wheat intollerance because he has a leaky gut [candida] but we have nearly got rid of the candida with probiotics and candex so i presume his next annual testing next week will show he might have out grown one....tomato and gluten and dairy can be taken if you take enzymes like peptitydes from www.mandimart.com
enyzmes can help with quite a few allergies due to the protein not breaking down , her site is great have a look when you have a moment..
