hehe FM! ours are felt type stuff and we've had them 5yrs or so. lots of places sell them, even B&Q. re-use year after year. We've found a box of dead rasins and a balloon in ours - just got them out of the loft so they'll be ready for weekend.

Divine do a dark chocolate advent calendar, looks just like a standard one, my ds quite likes dark chocolate in small doses (the advantage of him not knowing any better).

i have this one it is gorgeous
put my own lovely chocolate in each evening before bed, and that way they can't just eat them all when i'm not looking on dec 1st...!
