we have one - err well actually three of these and i put chocolate / candy canes / balloons / bits of tat presents in them for the dc.

hehe FM! ours are felt type stuff and we've had them 5yrs or so. lots of places sell them, even B&Q. re-use year after year. We've found a box of dead rasins and a balloon in ours - just got them out of the loft so they'll be ready for weekend.

Divine do a dark chocolate advent calendar, looks just like a standard one, my ds quite likes dark chocolate in small doses (the advantage of him not knowing any better).
