DS4 is casein intol so cows / goat milk out

Now he's 6 mnths want him to occasionally have a bottle of formula (currently BF and weaned) so I can pop ut- won't take ebm.

Now, ds1 yeras ago likd his soya formula but back then it was really sweet and lots of kids got tooth decay, including ds1. Tried the cow & gate and it wuld appear they solved this by removing all sweetness- its not only rank, the flavour is no giid imo for a baby used to the sweet taste of breastmilk.

Are any of the others better? Is there any product I could get frm my GP? or am I doomed to bf for ever ad miss all the fun?

I used SMA wysoy for my son, no sugar, tasted like ordinary soya milk and conforms to baby feeding guidelines. he is nearly 5 now, a strapping 3' 10'' and as lean as can be at 3st. most GP won't prescribe this as my sons one wouldn't so we bought it and it was just a bit more expensive than ordinary formula. some GP's have come into the light and realised soya milk formula is not the bad old formula it used to be perceived as, as people like SMA would not risk their reputation by supplying a sub standard or harmful product and so may prescribe it (my sisters GP prescribed it for my 4th niece). there is a small percentage of people intolerant to soya too, my son was temporarily intolerant to casein but was good with soya, but SMA is one I can heartily reccommend

I know we can anyting prescribed as he has had problems with weight gain in the past, so that's not a issue.
