milk protein intolerance

paediatrician has asked us to put dd1 on an strict milk protein free diet for a week. can any one recommend a good source of information on foods to avoid etc. its specifically milk protein not lactose that she needs to avoid.

I would look at some of the websites that sell allergy and intolerance related food like goodnessdirect. Once you have identified ones you like then you can source them elsewhere.
You could also ask your local supermarket to give you a list of products without any milk products. Most will supply for you.

As it is only a week I would just avoid all milk related stuff, give rice milk where needed and serve fruit only as puddings.
All other prepared meals will be flagged if they contain milk.
Provamel do puddings ( soya) which are really nice btw
Also your health food shop will help..
