... I've just seen a photograph of Roquefort cheese and the mold growing on rye bread (presumably to add later in the process). The mold is penicillium roqueforti vitae.
Now this has never ever occurred to me before, but I'm allergic to penicillin - is that the same thing and should I therefore avoid Roquefort cheese?!
Or am I just being stupid and it's something else entirely?!
