Co amoxyclav - weird side effects - help please

Hi, was switched to co amoxyclav yesterday for a UTI from cephalexin as urine culture showed mixed bacteria. And I still had symptoms after 4 days on ceph.
I'm not allergic to penicillin. About an hour after the first dose I stated to feel cold/ chills . I've done a web search and it can be a side effect although rare !
I really need to get rid of my UTI , so I guess if it's a side effect I ll need to stick with it but was wondering if anyone else has had this ?

Can also be a symptom of UTI/kidney infection....

Yes , I'm still really flushed too but as have only taken one dose I ll need to give it a bit longer I suppose to work . . Just awful

Make sure you take it when you have food in your stomach would be my advice,I started it yesterday and after a few stomach upsets on amoxcillin I made sure my stomach lining couldn't be irritated. Might be worth considering

Update, I went on to develop a blotchy rash and was advised by out of hours to stop taking it .

I'm allergic to co-amoxiclav. Causes nausea and sickness.
