Looking for a hand hold/advice. My DD is 9. She has carried an epipen for peanut and milk allergy since she was small. At a recent review, triggered by an anaphylaxis when she ate 1 spoon of dairy ice that was served to her in an error by the restaurant, an in-hospital baked milk challenge was advised. She successfully completed the challenge by eating 1 malted milk biscuit over 4 hours and was very pleased ❤️. We have tried to move to stage 2. On day 2 of stage 2 both attempts she has suffered a significant reaction. Today she was sick, went very shaky, covered in hives. It was managed without epipen, but touch and go and still monitoring. Has anyone got past this stage? She is so sad after such hope.
