Lactose intolerance after stomach bug?

My just tuned 4 month old had a bug last week, ending on Saturday. She has never been a sicky baby, never had reflux, never spits up when burped and doesn’t ever have to wear a bib/muslin. Since the bug she keeps spitting up curled milk, throughout the day and after every feed (not loads but by god it stinks), as well as diahorrea and wind.

I read they can develop temporary lactose intolerance after a bug has this happened to anyone else’s little one?

Yep, happened to my son after a particularly bad one - he was 4/5. I thought he was just getting re-infected until our pediatrician explained. We avoided dairy for about 3 weeks after to be safe… I would talk to your ped, as they may advise you switch formulas temporarily.

It happened to me as a kid. I had a very bad bought of gastroenteritis and ended up intolerant to milk and milk products (including lactose).

I did unfortunately have to elimate all dairy, however after about 5 years I was able to tolerate it again and I've been fine since. (Bar a bit of a dodgy stomach if I eat too much dairly but certainly not to the level it was as a kid)
