Gluten intolerance?

Looking for opinions and advice really..

I visited my gp last week with symptoms of indigestion ( feeling food is stuck mainly ) with some abdominal cramps and a change to bowel movements ( softer and harder to wipe sorry TMI!)

he suggested testing for celiac disease… I have just received bloods back and the specific celiac test was negative. However I noticed my basophils were raised (11) total white blood cells are 9.2..and my iron levels although within normal range at 60, was surprisingly low as I eat meat and also take a daily iron supplement so I expected it to be higher . I wondered if this could still be a sign of inflammation ?
I have cut gluten last two days and already noticed my indigestion had improved.

i won’t be offered a re test as my blood results are “normal” so won’t know if there’s any changes, but wondered if anyone with a gluten intolerance noticed anything in particular on their blood tests with a negative gluten test? TIA
