Silent Reflux help!

My DD is 7 weeks (3 weeks andjusted) and since birth has been squirming, going red, arching back, grunting, hiccups after every feed and just generally seems in discomfort all the time. She sounds really congested and nasally to me too like she’s trying to clear her throat but HV said probably a floppy larynx. Hospital and HV all think silent reflux. We have tried all the tricks like raising the cot, holding upright but nothing seems to make a difference. The paediatrician prescribed the lowest dose omeprazole which we tried for 4 weeks with no difference. We changed to prescription formula (Sma althera) but again doesn’t seem any better after 4 weeks and seems to have started spitting up with it been so thin. I have started adding Carobel but it won’t go through MAM size 1/2 teats and with the size 3 she gulps it down in 5 minutes and doesn’t recognise when she’s full giving herself a tummy ache. I’m at such a loss what to try next and she can’t sleep for any more than a cap nap here and there as she wakes herself up with the groaning and squirming. My partner goes away next week and I don’t know how to stay awake 24:7 when she doesn’t sleep any stretches where I could sleep- please help!!

Cow’s Milk Allergy

Cow’s milk allergy is an abnormal response by the body’s immune system in which proteins in a food are recognised as a potential threat.
