Hi everyone,

a quick debrief on my 8 week old baby girl.
she has been formula fed since birth and been on kendamil classic for majority of this. We swapped her to kendamil comfort for a week or two after being diagnosed with ‘colic’. This milk did not agree with her and made her really sicky, we didn’t like the texture or smell of it either. We switched back to Kendamil classic, however she can get really unsettled after her feeds, she’s burping a lot better now than she has been in the past, she’s recently become really sicky, thick grainy formula sick during / straight after feeds and when lying down etc afterwards (she’s held upright for 30 mins after each feed) she gets really watery sick. She takes the milk no bother and feeds every 2 hours ish. It’s affecting her sleep now as she doesn’t like lying on her back and she does a lot of wriggling, throwing her legs in the hair, usually followed by a lot of farting. She poos usually every 2 days or so and it’s always comes after a long period of discomfort and tears and comes out as an explosion. She does a lot of high pitched screetching and red faced pushing. My health visitor advises she will grow out of all digestive issues and it’s all under the ‘colic’ umbrella. Would changing her formula help with this and if so which brand would you recommend? Thank you for any advice!

Join kendamums on facebook they have a colic/ reflux checklist to work through. Colic is a symptom not a diagnosis
