Just a question regarding my newborn. He's a month old today, but was week overdue so 5w.
He's on cmpa milk nutramigen AA since last Friday.
Over the last 2/3 days he's become really hungry, taking 4/5 oz every 2/3h including at night where before he'd go 4/5h overnight but last two nights he's feeding even overnight. He's bottle fed.
I've spoken to hv about whether he's got silent reflux, he's congested and hiccups a lot, he's on gaviscon and is sleeping much less.
This morning though he smiled for the first time where even the hv commented it was a social smile. I'm just worried I'm overfeeding but he's not being sick after feeds, I'm pace feeding, hv said his growth is fine and is on 50th centile.
Is there a growth spurt around this age? On cow and gate he'd go every 3 but it's almost like he's cluster feeding, every 2h but he's not breastfed.
