Anyone tried the Bariatric Seed Diet Recipe for weight loss?

Hi everyone,
Just popping in to see if anyone else here has tried the bariatric seed diet recipe that’s been floating around lately. It’s a simple blend of chia, flax, fennel, and sunflower seeds you mix into warm water with lemon supposed to help with digestion, reduce bloating, and curb appetite.
I’ve been giving it a go for the past week (just one glass in the morning), and I’ve noticed I feel fuller longer and a bit less puffy in the evenings. Not expecting miracles, but honestly, it’s nice having something natural to try that isn’t extreme.
I’m curious if anyone else has tried it or made any tweaks maybe added different seeds or used it before meals? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences.
Also wondering: has it worked long-term for anyone here? And how do you get around the texture mine gels up a bit fast!
Thanks in advance x

Uh first I’ve heard of it but that looks utterly repulsive! And sounds incredibly disordered tbh.

I’d recommend adding in some pumpkin seeds, less water, and bake in a thin layer - I make these crackers all the time! Probably won’t make you lose weight but will give you far more pleasure 😄

Eew.

How is this better than, say, the cabbage soup diet? Or drinking hot water with lemon and chilli?

More faddy nonsense tbh.

I have gotten into the habit over the last 18 months of doing this with room temperature water, lemon, chia, flaxseeds and keffir ( just about a third of the glass) and have only water in the morning with my frog spawn concoction in the afternoon about 2 pm, and a small portion of whatever the family are eating in the evening. I’ve lost 22kg over 18 months and it has been life changing for me. Occasionally I do a bit of fasting, so just the frog spawn and water for 24 hours if my weight loss slows down but find I feel fully satiated even after a small evening meal. Still have the odd glass of wine and have not really cut anything out of my diet although do restrict carbs a lot more than I used to do. Don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything and plan to do this for the foreseeable. Also walking more as my joint pain has massively reduced. Cholesterol levels are down. Off all pain medication. Making small changes over time has been key for me. If I eat in the morning I will try to have a savoury breakfast, like the glucose goddess recommends. Seems to be working for me at least. Best of luck.
