Health Diary

A few years ago I started to develop some horrible digestive problems. I went to my GP who ran all the normal bloods etc and everything was normal. They eventually suggested putting me on an anti depressant but I wasn't depressed. I started a health diary, food, weather, etc and discovered that my symptoms/attack only happened when I ate garlic. I gave garlic up and have not had an incident since until....I ate a very strong chilli pizza with hidden garlic in the pepperoni and had exactly the same symptoms again quite fiercely. The point of my post is that when you feel that something is not right you must go to your doctor but alongside keep a diary of all sorts of possible triggers.

@spindrift2025 do you mind me asking, how long after eating garlic do you have symptoms? I've kept food diaries in the past to try and track what might be giving me issues but not sure what timescale to be looking at. Thanks.
