Hi mums
My ds is 6.5 months. When can I start giving eggs and how do I give it. I am so nervous about him reacting to it if any. Do I give him a cooked whole egg first or just half of it. Or is it better to give it in form of pancake ( oats+banana+eggs) .Please advise me how all of you started eggs for your babies. I would love some ideas.
Same query with nuts.
My 6 Yr old daughter ate nut powder in porridge as a baby for almost an year and half but then later at 2.5 yrs old she developed allergy as she has eczema.
Thankyou so much

Introduce foods one at a time.
To start with egg give cooked egg yolk first and another day try cooked egg white. My daughter was allergic to egg white but thankfully grew out of it. Her allergic reaction was a rash that appeared quickly all over her body followed by vomiting.
We followed principles of baby led weaning which was great. Good luck!
