My 6 week old has been put on Aptamil pepti 1 for 3 days now for suspected CMPA but since being on it his inconsolably crying, vomiting after every feed and coughs when being fed and doesn’t settle on his own and sometimes doesn’t settle being picked up either, he is not sleeping either and has a molted rash on his body eventhough he is hot to touch but with no fever but disappears when touched.
what do I do? He was treated for reflux and non of the medication worked and now the gp thinks he has suspected CMPA but his reacting to the formula and I feel really bad coz I’ve got to watch him go through this.
Anyone else had this problem? Any advice
