Eating out in London

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help? We're off to London this weekend, can anyone recommend any restaurants in the Central/West End area that are understanding about allergies? DS has severe allergies to milk, eggs and nuts, we usually do OK going into places before evening service starts and asking the chef/owner, but London's a big place so I'd appreciate any hot tips to save our legs!

Thanks!

My son has the same allergies and wagamamas were very helpful, of course it does depend which one you go to but we went to the one at the back of selfridges (can't remember the street name) and have been to the one in Bath lots of times and after talking to the manager they were both very helpful

second Wagamamas, they have a book so they can look up all the ingredients on their menu.

Oooh, that sounds good, I like the sound of Japanese food. And I know EXACTLY where Selfridges is!

Thanks for the info!

Thanks again for the info, I can't recommend Wagamama at the Festival Hall on the South Bank highly enough - busy as they were, they took all the time in the world to listen to my worries and reassure me - plus the food was DELICIOUS! Am now planning a trip to my local branch in Cambridge, nice to have somewhere to eat out that ISN'T McD's!!!
